The Pathology Division of National Institute of Fisheries Science(NIFS) has long been in steady endeavor for the systematic management and distribution of fish pathogens as it is the most fundamental for the studies of fish disease.As national institute, Korean Culture collection of Aquatic Microorganisms(KoCAM) operated by NIFS will continue its efforts for the collection, preservation and distribution to business and academia of reference pathogens, which are indispensable element in the studies of disease in farmed aquatic organisms to contribute to the systematic performance of such studies.
