Last 3rd of June, the President of NIFS, CHOI, Wan-Hyun, visited Jindo County, South Jeolla Province for the On-site Office Meeting. The discussion of the topic was about the sustainable development of the laver industry and strengthening competitiveness. He also visited ground field of the laver breeding farms.

On May 28th and 29th, NIFS held meeting with seven heads of Suhyup Aquaculture Associations to prepare for naturual disasters this summer, checking the farm sites, and discussing responds of current situation.
