On May 14, Mr. Choi Yong-seok, the President of NIFS, visited the cage farms located in Geomun-do, Yeosu, to inspect the preparedness for high water temperature, urging actively brace for it to minimize the damages to farms.
On May 8, NIFS hosted the achievement-sharing event for oceans and fisheries R&D 2025 in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, joined by around 300 stakeholders from logcal governments, relevant organizations, the fisheries industry, etc.
In the event, the participants had a time to share impending issues facing the fisheries sites and development direction.
The achievement-sharing event was on the sidelines with KOSFAS International Conference 2025 : A 70-Year Journey of Fisheries Science and The Next 100 Years.

The workshop was held to discuss ways for the expansion of formulated feed usage and to share relevant policy directions as well as R&D status.

On March 19, NIFS hosted a workshop with the staffs working on research vessels (R/Vs) of NIFS. Taking a tour of NIFS research facilities as well as other entities, they strengthened a sense of belonging while having open communication.
