The NFRDI had a monthly all staff meeting in the main conference room on November 10.

The NFRDI hosted the Symposium at the Novotel hotel in Haeundae on November 5 with the participation of experts from home and abroad.

The NFRDI participated in Oceans and Fisheries Science and Technology Fair 2014 which was held in Yeosu on October 23-25. We established a promotional booth and actively promoted our research achievements.

The NFRDI signed a MOU with the Korean Agency of Education, Promotion and Information Services in Food, Forestry and Fisheries (EPIS) on October 21 in order to establish a network between the “Return to Fishing Village" Center of the NFRDI and the EPIS.

The NFRDI set up a promotional booth in the Tongyeong International Ocean and Fisheries Expo 2014 and actively promoted its research achievements. The Expo lasted for 4 days from October 8 to October.

The NFRDI had an opening ceremony of the "Return to Fishing Village" Center on October 2 with the attendance of Minister Lee, Ju-young of Oceans and Fisheries and heads of other competent authorities.

The NFRDI had a carp release event in Jindo on September 25 to boost the local inland fisheries

The NFRDI signed a MOU with the Korea Rural Community Corporation on September 23 in order to sustainably develop fishing villages and to more effectively support people returning rural communities and fishing villages.

The NFRDI hosted the seminar along with a shrimp harvest experience event at Taean culture center on September 22.

During Chuseok holidays, Minister Lee, Ju-young of Oceans and Fisheries and President Chung Young-Hoon of the NFRDI visited Mijo, Namhae to check the damages caused by red tide and control measures to contain the damages.
